Destination Event: New England

When Candice of Jubilee Events first shared with me the inspiration board for the New England destination I let out a squeal of delight! What better muse than Kate Spade with her bold colors, playful stripes and fun confetti. The palette and the patterns were so inspiring! Graphic pink peonies pop off the fuchsia envelope when opened. Inside the invitation suite is neatly tied with matching hot pink ribbon and secured with a glittery silver button. The invitation itself is adorned with a miniature glassine bag filled with pink and silver confetti signaling that a fun and fabulous celebration awaits the guest!

For the florals, Tony from Datura, a modern garden, went with blocks of color, softened with touches of vine. The glossy black geometric containers made for a super tailored arrangement. Carla Ten Eyck captured all of the details below.

From Jubilee Events: “Great attention was paid to the fabrics and textures – especially the silk shantung that Kate loves to use in her dresses and parlayed that into a pretty fuchsia napkin. Silver sequin chair backs from La Tavola Linen adorned the chair backs to carry through our sparkly confetti inspiration. We also chose a bright yellow charger at each place setting accompanied by Kate Spade china in black and white polka dots. The glassware I chose was super feminine and reminded me of the Kate Spade pattern Belle Boulevard.”

Check out the black satin ribbon expertly wrapped around the base of the bouquet – the delicate, graphic folds are divine and the vintage brooch from The White Dress by the shore is exquisite!

The escort cards played homage to kitchy button candy while hot pink handmade crepe poppers – filled with confetti for celebrating – served as the place cards.
