Coral Pheasant’s Editorial Debut!
I am super excited to be sharing with you Coral Pheasant’s editorial debut: a bridal fashion shoot for Southern New England Weddings, Destination Edition!
I had the privilege of collaborating with my fave wedding peeps on a shoot that took place at the breathtakingly beautiful Belle Mer Mansion in Newport, RI. The restrained color palette is to die for. Shades of white, ivory and cream with pops of metallic gold and black. I love the juxtaposition of the chunky jewels, the delicate flowers and the gnarly branches. Texture overload – done right!
Escort cards with die cut antlers were displayed under a stunning rose wall constructed with nearly 700 fresh roses in soft shades of ivory. How sweet would it be to dine under cascading flowers? Taking inspiration from an Alexander McQueen dress, Jubilee Events and Datura: A Modern Garden put together this super-glamorous table.
Above left, laser engraved, hand-painted acrylic menu cards. So mod!
The super-sleek white metal invitation was engraved to reveal gold and then mounted in a python-embossed folio. A gold buckle wraps around the folio sealing it shut.
A Little Imagination Cakes was inspired by a haute couture Givency gown when designing the five-tiered cake.
Want to see how it all come together? Vintage Cinema was on hand to capture all of the magic making:
Be sure to pick up your copy of Southern New England Weddings: Destinations to see all this goodness in print!
